How to use the MAGENTA score with older or poor prognosis patients

Unfortunately, about 2/3 of cycles across the world still don’t succeed. We recognize that many of these patients would be classified as poor prognosis ahead of time.

Most of those are because of older age and anticipated low egg quality.

Using the MAGENTA Score, an individualized AI tool to evaluate eggs, we can then provide feedback for these poor prognosis patients who unfortunately don’t succeed, that in fact, it was their low egg quality that led to the lack of success. 

This counselling tool can be used in multiple ways, including considering multiple IVF attempts with adjustments, or maybe starting the discussion about alternative options such as egg donation.
