EGG FREEZING CALCULATOR • POWERED BY FUTURE FERTILITY
Start with an estimate based on your age and egg count, then learn how VIOLET™ provides personalized insight into one of the most important missing pieces: your egg quality.

DID YOU KNOW?
Two women of the same age can freeze the same number of eggs yet have different chances of success.
THE CALCULATOR
Enter your age and the number of mature eggs you expect to freeze—or have already frozen—to generate a conventional estimate of your egg freezing potential.
Standard calculators cannot account for egg quality. See how VIOLET™ can unlock personalized egg quality insights.
This spectrum shows where your baseline estimate for at least 1 live birth—based only on age and mature egg count—falls. Because egg quality is a key influencer of reproductive outcomes, your unique potential may differ. VIOLET™ adds individualized egg quality insights for a more personalized estimate.
Why is the result shown as a range?
These estimates are based on two independently published egg-freezing studies. Rather than relying on a single source, we use both to provide a range of potential outcomes, giving you perspective from multiple published data sources. Click to learn more about the research and methodology.
This is an educational estimate only and cannot predict your individual outcome.
WHAT CONVENTIONAL ESTIMATES CAN’T INCLUDE
Conventional egg calculators give you an estimate using factors we can count like age and number of eggs. But the most important factor—egg quality—can’t be included.

Two women of the same age can retrieve the same number of eggs and still see very different outcomes — because egg quality varies between individuals and even between eggs within the same cycle of one patient
Higher quality eggs are more likely to fertilize, develop into chromosomally correct embryos, lead to a successful pregnancy, and ultimately result in a live birth.
They are based on population statistics that don’t account for your personal health status or the unique quality of your eggs.

PERSONALIZED EGG QUALITY INSIGHTS
Go beyond population averages with personalized egg quality insights. VIOLET™ analyzes images of your mature eggs at the time of retrieval and provides a personalized prediction of your chances of having a baby.
What’s included in a VIOLET™ report?
Depending on your clinic, VIOLET™ reports may also include:

TAKE A GUESS
These eggs appear nearly identical, yet only one developed into a blastocyst. VIOLET™ analyzes subtle image patterns associated with developmental potential that aren’t consistently visible through routine visual assessment.

The displayed range shows the lower and higher result from two counseling models; the results are not averaged. The first is based on Goldman et al. (2017), which combined retrospective ICSI outcomes, age-specific euploidy data, assumed egg-thaw survival, and an assumed live-birth rate per euploid blastocyst. The second uses age-banded mature-oocyte-to-live-born-child efficiencies described by Doyle et al. (2016).
For each model, every mature egg is treated as an independent opportunity with probability p. For n eggs, P(at least 1) = 1 − (1 − p)n and P(at least 2) = 1 − (1 − p)n − np(1 − p)n−1.
Both publications rely on retrospective or surrogate populations and assumptions that may differ from current clinic outcomes. ASRM guidance notes that evidence remains insufficient to predict an individual live-birth outcome after planned egg freezing.
This calculator is not medical advice and does not predict or guarantee an individual outcome. It uses only age at freezing and number of mature eggs—not egg quality, AMH, ovarian reserve, sperm factors, health history, or clinic-specific outcomes.
