FF is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester passionate about refining and bringing software products to market. This position is responsible for building and maintaining standards and guiding the overall quality level of our platform. Our solution includes C# .NET Windows application, Python backend and VUE.JS front-end as well as other server components. You will work with the Data Science and Software Engineering team but also will collaborate with Regulatory and QA team as well as the Customer Support team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated) on a timely basis
  • Evaluate testing process, make recommendations as necessary
  • Identify and record bug reports and create JIRA tasks for the dev team
  • Update product documentation and prepare product releases
  • Ensuring compatibility between all components of the system
  • Coordinate with Regulatory and QA team to be a key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally
  • Coordinating with Customer Support team to maintain ticketing support system, replying and assigning tickets to team members
  • Working with Customer Support team as the front line in technical customer support, deploying creative problem solving and strong client communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Testing or Software Development
  • Experience writing test strategies, test plans, creating test data, and executing test plans for white/black box testing
  • Strong data analysis, data verifications and problem-solving abilities, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycles, specifically Agile
  • Good understanding of GIT, Jenkins, JIRA / Confluence workflows and testing automation tools
  • Hands-on knowledge of Windows OS and PC hardware
  • Understanding Video/Audio processing, Visual Effect fundamentals, networking and streaming is a plus
